Pallas LL.M. in European Business Law
General information about Pallas LL.M.
The Pallas Consortium, consisting of the universities of Barcelona (Spain), Bologna (Italy), Essex (Great Britain), LUISS Guido Carlo (Italy), Konstanz (Germany), Jean Moulin Lyon 3 (France), Münster (Germany) and Nijmegen (the Netherlands), has developed a postgraduate course in European Business Law leading to the award of the LL.M. degree in European Business Law.
The Pallas curriculum offers a one-year programme on a full-time basis from September until the end of June. During the summer a dissertation on one of the course subjects has to be prepared. The programme consists of eight main topics, which are all compulsory, covering European Business Law. The programme is divided into four 5-week periods. During each period two subjects are covered. After each period written examinations will be taken.
High quality is the highmark of the Pallas Consortium. Admission is, therefore, selective. Amongst the documents which must be enclosed with the application two letters of recommendation from reputable academic sources, such as former law school professors or other persons qualified to recommend students for postgraduate study in law must be included.
